About Me
I am a Masters student currently completing a PGCE to become a full-time Science teacher. I have an in-depth understanding of KS3 and KS4 Triple Science, Mathematics, and English, developed through years of professional tutoring, teaching placements, and voluntary educational work. Over the past five years, I have tutored dozens of students both locally and internationally, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), gaining valuable experience in adapting to a wide range of learning needs and abilities.
How My Classes Work
My tutoring approach is student-centred and adaptable, shaped by years of practical experience.
I aim to make lessons engaging and enjoyable—using humour, discussion, and curiosity to spark
interest in learning.
I guide students to think independently and take ownership of their progress, rather than
leading every step myself. Lessons are carefully paced to match each student’s ability and
confidence.
I supplement the tutoring by tracking and strengthening each student’s progress. I break topics
into manageable sections and design short, focused 10-minute worksheets for weekly practice
between sessions. Over time, I gradually increase the complexity and range of topics to
reinforce retention and ensure long-term understanding.
