2. Description of Services

Tutee provides an introductory and administrative service to connect individuals seeking academic tutoring ("Tutees") with individuals providing academic tutoring ("Tutors"). Our role is to facilitate this connection and manage the administrative aspects of the tutoring sessions.

3. User Obligations

By using our Site, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information when filling out our contact forms.
  • Use our Services for lawful purposes only.
  • Maintain a respectful and professional demeanor in all communications with our staff, Tutors, and Tutees.

4. Tutoring Sessions and Payments

  • Scheduling: All tutoring sessions will be scheduled and confirmed through Tutee's administrative staff.
  • Payment: Fees for tutoring services will be communicated to you upon your inquiry. Payments are due 24 hours in advance of each scheduled session.
  • Cancellation Policy: We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for the cancellation of any scheduled session. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to forfeiture of the session fee.

5. No Guarantee of Academic Results

While our Tutors are dedicated to providing high-quality educational support, we make no guarantees, warranties, or representations regarding the academic performance of a Tutee. The success of the tutoring is dependent on the Tutee's effort, motivation, and other external factors. We do not guarantee any specific grades or outcomes.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tutee shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your use of our Services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or our Services will not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the 6 months preceding the claim.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our Site, including the logo, text, graphics, and software, is the property of Tutee and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Any educational materials provided by Tutors during sessions are for the Tutee's personal, non-commercial use only.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our Services at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post the revised Terms on the Site and update the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Site or Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
